Role Overview
Our client seeking a highly skilled, hardworking, and motivated Maintenance Operative (Multi-Trade) to join our dedicated team. Based in Flag ship site and supporting properties across the Harrow area, you will be responsible for maintaining our apartments and communal spaces to the highest
standards.
This is a demanding and fast-paced role that requires a proactive approach, exceptional attention to
detail, and a strong sense of pride in your work. You must be able to manage your time efficiently,
work independently and as part of a team, and take full ownership of tasks from start to finish. A high
standard of finish is essential in everything you do.

- Take ownership of on-site maintenance, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Proactively identify and implement cost-effective solutions.
- Carry out regular patrols to identify and address issues before they escalate.
- Escalate larger or specialist repairs to the Line Manager.
- Role-Specific Accountabilities
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of internal structures, fittings, and equipment.
- Perform a wide range of maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry,
- painting, and general repairs.
- Maintain safe, clean workspaces and ensure compliance with all safety protocols.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergency call-outs, minimizing disruption to residents.
- Conduct pre-tenancy functionality checks and inspections using systems such as Inventory
- Hive.
- Log maintenance activity and follow up on outstanding issues via systems like FixFlo.
- Monitor stock of materials and tools and request replacements as needed.
- Support and deliver capital works, refurbishments, and property improvements.
Required Experience & Competencies- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role.
- Strong working knowledge across multiple trades: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry,
- decorating, and general repair.
- High attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality finishes.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage workload independently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a solutions-first mindset.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Confident working both alone and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required.
- PAT Testing certification (preferred).
- Good IT skills for reporting and scheduling tasks.
- Familiarity with Building Management Systems and reading technical documents.
- • Up-to-date understanding of Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices.
Salary & Benefits
£30.000 - £35.000pa subject to experience and skill set. Annual discretionary bonus to be discussed.
